Negative size can only be found by stating the obvious, a size that cannot exist.

Negative size is not simply a sign flipped from positive to negative; a dug hole is not the negative of a hill. Here a clothing rack descends size by size to its last slot. Negative size cannot physically be shown. It can only be found by stating the obvious: a size that cannot exist.
