More than Lived
We carry more than we live.

A life is never just a straight line or two-dimensional. Rather it is part of its environment, carrying within it the paths taken, the paths foreclosed, and the marks of both. A concentrated field of ink built blot by blot, sits within a sparser charcoal environment. The fractures running through it and the paths that formed it are made of the same material, inseparable in origin. This work asks how all of this accumulates into one whole.
