My artwork was born out of both necessity and naivety. It does not simply ask questions, it requires participation. My lack of formal art training is both circumstance and deliberate choice. I seek to arrive at concepts uncontaminated by convention, allowing each work to determine its own materials and medium rather than forcing an idea into a predetermined form. There is an ambitiously lazy undertone to my practice - I do not fight the concept - I let it dictate the work. Ultimately, I hope each piece shifts a viewer's perception of the world, even if only by a single degree.
