CAPACITY draws on the artist's twenty-plus years in market risk management on Wall Street, measuring the gap between what a system is built to hold and what it can actually survive. Four colored matboards, mounted in sequence on four identically sized black gatorboard panels, trade positions from panel to panel — the same movement risk itself makes inside a bank as it pushes past a limit, then past a boundary once assumed safe. What happens on the fourth panel is not a return to where the sequence began.
