THE CENTER is built around 心, rendered in charcoal at the heart of a physically torn canvas. Four conditions, rupture, atmosphere, accumulated weight, unlived possibility, press in from the corners, and the work never resolves whether they act upon the center, emerge from it, or form it entirely.
