What can hold everything - e.g. a body's worth of meaning, or nothing at all - such that losing it collapses everything else? Held never says what is resting on that beam, only that something is, and that nothing is fastened. It asks the viewer what, in themselves, is being held the same way precisely, and only for as long as something keeps holding it.
