Frontier

Knowledge does not end uncertainty. It locates it.

2026
39.5 × 22 in (partially framed)
Pigment ink, archival paper, cardstock, blue pen

Down a tall sheet, a single word is edited from UNKNOWN into KNOWN by striking out its negation — while beside it the unknown grows larger with every cycle. The escalation accelerates toward the bottom, where an undersized frame fails to contain the work and a hand takes over: the whole cycle begins again, by hand, — a bigger UNKNOWN, trailing off, unresolved.
